Welcome to the new RachelSchain.comA Jolt of Caffeine for the Coffee House - LilacFace out NOW!
Rachel is thrilled to announce that her first full-length album, LilacFace, was released on March 29! It is available on CDBaby (physical and digital), iTunes, Amazon MP3, Spotify, or your favorite digital downloading site. "What's best about this is my fans finally get to hear the songs the way I've heard them in my head all along. It just doesn't come across as well on an acoustic guitar," Rachel says. Because she can't do anything without friends in tow, this album was produced by Boy Wonder and Venice Sunlight served as backing band. Special appearances on the album were made by Noelle Picara, TubaDan, Sheila Hershey, and Donna Smith, plus a return appearance by Patrick Allen, who played some of the most exciting guitar parts on Happy Happy. These 9 songs are significantly more indicative of the fun you'll have at one of Rachel's shows. Watch her gigs page for tour dates as they are booked (DC, Chicago, and Cincinnati are set), and keep an eye on Rachel's Twitter and Facebook page, or just join the mailing list to stay in touch.
Happy Happy is Rachel's very first EP. Happy Happy features 6 original songs and, if we do say so ourselves, it's pretty awesome. PopMatters says it's awesome, too. CDBaby has physical copies and digital downloads, or you can go to iTunes, Amazon.com, or your favorite digital marketplace for downloads only. What are you waiting for? Get Happy Happy!
Wow, this is exciting news. The winners of this year's Best Of Delaware poll have been released and we are thrilled to announce that thanks to your votes, Rachel Schain is Upstate Delaware's favorite musician! Rachel cannot possibly express how grateful she is to all who voted for her, and she hopes to give each and every one of those people hugs at her next Wilmington area gigs. Congratulations to Bruce Anthony as well, for his win as favorite musician from Downstate.
It's kind of hard to get to one of Rachel's gigs from the Midwest, the West Coast, or the other side of the ocean. Rachel understands, and hopes that someday she'll be able to come to your town. You can actually help with that. Eventful.com is a great site where you can actually put in requests for your favorite artists to play your town, and local venues do take demands into account when booking. Find Rachel here and start a demand for your town! In the meantime subscribe to her YouTube page so you can watch clips of her onstage (including fan favorite "Google Thinks We're Dating" and a cover of Coldplay's "In My Place").
